Nursery

Kilmaine has a purpose built nursery situated in the grounds of the school.  It has a bright recreation area, a playroom, a quiet room and a secure outdoor play area solely for the use of the nursery children.

Nursery Aims:

• To provide a stable, secure and challenging environment so that each child will be enabled to move towards maximum all round development: emotional, social, physical and cognitive.
• To foster bonds of mutual trust and respect between parents and staff.
• To serve as an extension of the home, extending the known and introducing new experiences, so that home and school complement each other.
